Shawnee & Emily | Portraits

During this session I reflected on the type of photographer I want to be and my purpose for choosing this as a career. 
I think as photographers we get in a rut of doing work. It becomes just a job instead of our passion.
We have to remember that we are artist creating images not just for our clients but also for ourselves, at least that's how I feel.
We definitely owe it to ourselves, and our art, to take a step back and look at what we are creating. 
Ask the question, how does this image/session make me feel? 
Is it telling the story I was hoping to tell? Are these images true to my style?
I struggle with doing this and it's become aparrent that I need to start! 
That is why I like to do sessions like these ones, random, fun, & natural.
