Hannah & Sam are the absolute best! I am so grateful I got to photograph and be a part of their wedding day. It was such a sweet day in some of the most beautiful locations in the Keweenaw.

I always ask my couples specific questions that help tell their story! This is the story of how they got engaged:
After Thanksgiving dinner with my family, we went for a walk in the woods on Hannah’s parent’s property with the family dog. Hannah started talking about their future and hoping to have a home together in a beautiful woods like this and little she did know that at the next clearing in the pine trees, Sam would get down on one knee and ask her to marry him. We both blacked out a little, but some of the first words out of Hannah’s mouth were “Are you Jim Halpert-ing me right now?”. Then she realized it wasn’t a joke and started crying and said yes a hundred times over!
