Michaela & Louis | L'Anse, MI Wedding
July 14, 2018
Certain couples just radiate love! That is what it’s like to be around Michaela & Louis. Their love is so profound for each other and for God and it was such an honor documenting this day for them!
Here are a few questions I asked them about their wedding day:
What suprised you most on your wedding day?
”How peaceful and stress-free everything was!”
What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding right now:
”You can't control everything and that's a good thing. Always be humble enough to ask for help when it is needed. Don't make a big deal about how fancy it is. It's all about you as a couple and being able enjoy the day with every person who made it there to see you live out your big day. You do NOT need to live up to other people's expectations of what they want your wedding day to be like.”
What was your favorite moment of the day?
”The first look!!”
If you had to pick one image that’s your favorite from the day, which one is it and why?
”The photo taken on my grandma and grandpa's front porch swing. I (Michaela) have had so many memories there from the beginning of my life until now. My grandparents passed away before we were married and they had such a monumental effect on who I am as a person now. I am so thankful that I had such an amazing example of true self-sacrifice and pure love. This is where I would sit with my grandmother and grandfather on cool summer nights and listen to the stories of their lives and be able to tell them little things about my day. That porch with a swing isn't just that to me. This place represents undying love.”
